查核組織 Politifact 檢視影片中展示的文宣品殘骸，發現影片裡面紙其實是共和黨在全美寄送的傳單，鼓勵其支持者參與郵寄投票。
另外，Politifact 也聯繫了影片中拍到的郵寄公司 R.R. Donnelly。該公司表示這確實是他們承包的傳單寄送業務，而影片中貨櫃車裡所裝的，是從回收廠回來的殘留的印刷垃圾。
