文字敘述上略有瑕疵,依國人膳食營養素參考攝取量第七版對鎂的介紹,除了鈣、磷、鈉,鎂在體內的礦物質含量也少於鉀。
 
但目前在鎂與疾病相關性研究中,的確指出,無論是飲食鎂或血清鎂值偏低時,罹患疾病的危險率會增高,相關疾病包括心血管疾病、糖尿病、骨質疏鬆、焦慮及憂鬱、失智等。
 
至於是否是「21世紀最耀眼礦物質」,屬於個人意見的詮釋,無對錯可言。
