世界衛生組織（WHO）曾在2015年時建議施打疫苗前不建議服用解熱鎮痛藥物，會影響到免疫力，建議接種後，若出現不適症狀再服用解熱鎮痛藥物比較好。接種後出現症狀後再服用解熱鎮痛藥物即可，不需要預先投藥。
