與事實相反。美國近年為拓展「出口市場」,才逐漸增加無使用瘦肉精的豬隻養殖比例,並非「有瘦肉精的都是外銷」。

據報導估計,2013年美國約有60%的豬隻使用萊克多巴胺,但到2019年,比例降為22%。
2013年美國農業部開始針對出口市場,實行「無使用β-腎上腺受體素認證(Never Fed Beta-Agonists Programme)」,加上2019年中國爆發非洲豬瘟影響供應,有更多美國廠商投入「無萊克多巴胺」生產,以應付全球市場需求、增加出口到更多國家的機會。
