中國香菇大舉侵台，光走私就佔三成(shocked)，另外也透過洗產地繞道入台，嚴重打擊本土菇農生計！曾親自去中國考察的呂昀陞研究員表示，中國香菇可用農藥高達30幾種，農藥用量多、甚至能驗出重金屬鎘、汞殘留，加上以煤炭烘香菇，使得中國菇的二氧化硫殘留量較高。

而在台灣，菇農幾乎不用藥，唯一可用的合法農藥只有「腐絕」（為一種殺菌劑），品質好又安心，卻被違法中國香菇嚴重影響銷售。
