目前找不到相關資料證實，且依照美國人口資料顯示，「超過51%的老年人跌倒與爬樓梯相關。爬樓梯每年導致2萬美國人死亡。」，此兩句話應該並無法顯示爬樓梯對老人是極端危險的事情。不過老年人家在行動上確實應該要多加注意。
