發給當年12月31日以前，年滿65歲或原住民年滿60歲，於當年6月30日前已設籍本市，至重陽節30日前仍持續在籍之市民，由民政局提供符合名冊，60至64歲原住民及65歲至99歲老人之敬老禮金由區公所匯款或派員送達到家；百歲以上長者，由市長或指派專人慰問。
