高雄市長陳其邁宣布重陽敬老禮金將加碼500元，高雄市社會局表示，敬老禮金將發放給當年度12月31日以前，年滿65歲或原住民年滿55歲並於6月30日前設籍高雄市，至重陽節30日前仍持續在籍之市民，自10月6日起由區公所、社會局開始發放。
