衛生福利部食品藥物管理署指出,縮水甘油是近幾年才發現的新興加工汙染物,雖然食用後不會造成立即危害,但長期還是會增加致癌風險。目前美國、日本都還沒有相關規範,僅歐盟率先訂出規定,但考量民眾食安,食藥署朝歐盟規定正研擬相關草案,將律定限量標準。
