希臘優格是優格完成發酵後,再經過一道過濾的工序,過濾優格能將乳清與水分篩去,留下的產物即為希臘優格,因此,希臘優格較一般優格更濃郁,口感介於乳酪與一般優格之間,也較容易產生飽足感。要注意的是,市售希臘優格的口感為了迎合消費者,一般會有添加物太多以及熱量太高的疑慮,選擇上也必須格外小心。
