欒樹花季始於9月，金色花雨可以持續兩個禮拜左右，台北市比較知名的欒樹大道則是位於敦化南路、天母忠誠路、研究院路與忠孝東路五段。欒樹的一大特點是其吸收含氮廢氣的能力是路樹中最強的，而除了耐汙染之外也深具賞花價值。
