SARS、H1N1新型流感大流行的挑戰，但它們的發源地、流行期間、動物宿主、傳染力、致死力、以及防治對策也皆不相同。而因應這種「冠狀病毒流感化」的演變，應該要加強武漢肺炎防治藥物的研發與量產，包括快篩試劑、抗病毒藥物以及疫苗等藥物都正在研發當中，希望都能夠早日研發成功，來確保人類的免受疫災之難。
