吃芒果不會直接對腎臟造成傷害,但芒果含高碳水化合物,若慢性病患者須控制碳水化合物,像是控制血糖、鉀離子的人,應控制芒果的攝取量。

民眾若對芒果過敏、需控制糖份及鉀離子攝取,確實應注意芒果攝取;但芒果並無毒性也沒有特殊飲食禁忌,一般民眾都可適量食用,並無傷腎疑慮。
