檸檬不是鹼性的食物,酸鹼是跟週遭環境比較的結果,檸檬的酸性PH值仍是小於7的,只是相對於胃酸PH值仍然大許多,以致被認為是鹼性,但事實上一樣是酸性且血液的酸鹼值是恆定的,不會因為吃檸檬而變成PH值大於7的鹼性,不過檸檬中的維生素C是可以提升抗病毒的保護力,多吃檸檬是可以提升保護力但卻不會改變血液的酸鹼值。
